Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lovecomic (the "service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our AI Content Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Lovecomic is an AI-powered comic creation platform. You describe a story in plain language or paste a script, optionally upload reference photos for your characters, and the service generates outlines, storyboards, panels, and lettering that you can refine, assemble into Webtoon-format episodes, and export. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are a minor, you may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Credits, Plans, and Billing

• Generating panels and character reference sheets consumes credits. The full credit estimate is always shown before each paid generation step.
• If a paid generation job fails, the credits reserved for it are automatically returned to your balance. Credits are consumed for the generation attempt itself, not for any particular result, because AI output is inherently variable.
• You can start for free. Paid plans include subscriptions (billed monthly or yearly in advance, renewing automatically until cancelled) and one-time purchases such as lifetime or credit-pack offers. Unused credits remain on your balance under the terms of your plan.
• You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals.

Refund Policy

• Failed generations. Credits reserved for a paid generation job that fails are automatically returned to your balance — no request needed.
• Used credits. Credits are consumed for generation attempts as described above. Credits already spent on completed generations are non-refundable, even if you are not satisfied with the result; you can regenerate or refine panels instead.
• Subscriptions. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Fees for the current period are generally non-refundable, but we consider refund requests for accidental renewals or duplicate charges on a case-by-case basis.
• One-time purchases. Requests for lifetime or credit-pack purchases are evaluated case by case and, when granted, may be prorated for the credits already consumed.
• How to request. Contact us at the email address provided on our website with your order number or account email. We review requests promptly and will notify you of the outcome; approved refunds are issued through the original payment method.
• Statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your jurisdiction.

Your Content and AI-Generated Output

• You retain ownership of the stories, scripts, prompts, and reference photos you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the service.
• Subject to your compliance with these terms, you own the comics you generate and may use them for personal or commercial purposes, including publishing, printing, or selling them.
• Generation relies on third-party AI model providers. Their terms apply to the underlying models; your rights to the generated output are as described in these terms and our AI Content Policy.
• If you publish a comic to the public gallery, other users can read and remix it. Projects you keep private remain private.
• You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing, publishing, or presenting it to others, including minors.

Acceptable Use and Content Standards

You agree not to:

• Use the service to create content that violates our AI Content Policy — including explicit sexual content, any sexual content involving minors, extreme gore, hate propaganda, or unauthorized sexualized depictions of real people.
• Generate content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any party, or that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service, or circumvent usage limits or moderation controls.
• Scrape, resell, or provide the service to others as a competing product, or misuse credits through automated bulk generation outside any API terms we publish.

AI Limitations and Disclaimers

All comics, artwork, dialogue, and stories on the service are produced by AI models at your direction and are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Output may contain imperfections, inconsistencies, or content that does not match your intent, and generated stories are fiction. Any resemblance to real persons, places, or events is coincidental. Do not rely on generated content as factual information.

Intellectual Property

The service itself — including its software, pipeline design, brand, and original content, features, and functionality — is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Moderation, Suspension, and Termination

Prompts and generated content are subject to automated moderation, and content that violates our standards may be blocked or replaced. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms, including repeated attempts to generate prohibited content. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
